Renaming Jefferson Golf Course to the Bill Wright Golf Complex

Please join us in our effort to recognize and pay tribute to Seattle's legendary golfer Bill Wright, who broke the glass ceiling for African Americans and people of color. The celebration will be at the Bill Wright Golf Complex (formerly Jefferson Golf Club), October 10, 6:00 pm.

Environmental Justice Award

Beacon Hill Council is pleased to announce that we received funding from the City of Seattle to develop community climate resiliency centers. Read more about the project here.

SeaTac Airport Community Coalition (STACC) for Justice

Beacon Hill Council is excited to partner with Partners in Change, El Centro De La Raza, King County Airport Community Coalition, Quiet Skies Puget Sound and 350 Seattle to address environmental, health and climate injustice issues that affect the BIPOC and immigrant and refugee communities under SeaTac's flight paths. What's Happening

Welcoming

We want a safe place for people to live, learn, shop, pray, play and volunteer at Beacon Hill. We are 70% people of color and 44% immigrants and refugees.

We lift up Black Lives Matter, Stop AAPI Hate, and other initiatives to move from violence to peace and justice.

Diverse

We celebrate our diversity. We work on anti-displacement initiatives to keep our neighbors and businesses in place and honor their contributions with the 100+ Significant People, Places, and Events Project at Beacon Hill.

Healthy

We support the health of our neighbors and our environment. We work on environmental justice issues, such as fighting pollution and air noise over Beacon Hill.
